Ready to Remember

New Song

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the concept of being in “Earth School,” where we come to planet Earth to grow and expand our consciousness, and how this growth happens through the lessons and tests we go through. 

One of my favorite ah-ha moments came from reading the book “Loyalty to Your Soul,” which said:

“Everything in life is either a lesson or a test. If you passed, it was a lesson;
if you didn’t, it was a test.”

It really helped to remind me that whether life is going amazingly, or whether it’s putting me through the ringer, everything is for my evolution.

Life is unfolding miraculously, look at all of the angel numbers and coincidences!!!

Awakening.

Life is feeling scary and unsure, and I’m feeling triggered today!

Awakening.

I’m in love!!

Awakening.

I’m in pain.

Awakening.

Everything that is happening is happening for my awakening.

I’ve noticed that as I become more Spirit led (and less of a control freak) that life is unfolding in ways beyond what I could have imagined or planned.

While embracing the mystery of the unknown has propelled me beyond the boundaries of my comfort zone, creating a space where true miracles can unfold, it's undeniable that this journey can be scary sometimes. 

It's like driving down a narrow road in the dark, with fog so thick you can only see three feet ahead.

And there's Spirit, gently whispering, "keep going." 

Meanwhile, I'm gripping the steering wheel with sweat covered hands, going,

"Really Spirit? Are you sure about this? I don't want to end up driving off a cliff!" 

Talk about learning the lesson of surrender and Trust! 

I remember saying to a friend the other day, “sometimes I feel like I’m putting the pieces of a puzzle together, but I don’t have the picture to reference!” and then I said, “ooh.. pictureless puzzle, there’s a concept for a song”, and I parked it in my hook book and forgot about it.

The other day I was deep in deep reflection, and I thought to myself… 

Ain’t it funny…

We intentionally choose to incarnate into human form, forget who we are, then come here and do our best to evolve, all the while not being able to remember WHO or WHAT we are - infinite, life force energy.  How strange is that…?  🙇🏻‍♀️ 🤔

Then a melody started to come through, so I grabbed the guitar and plucked a couple of chords, and this song just poured out of me.

Talk about healing through music. Just singing this raises my vibration instantly 😊
